Wendy Douglas, Director of Production for TLC

Wendy L. Douglas, Director of Production for TLC, manages Jon & Kate Plus 8, one of the network's highest-rated series. She oversees content, schedules, and budgets and also serves as a brand manager to ensure that editorial across all platforms (Ad Sales, Marketing, Publicity, On-line) is consistent with the brand.

In her most recent role as Executive Producer at Discovery Health & Discovery Kids, Douglas managed series (Mystery ER, Bindi the Jungle Girl) and one-hour specials (I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant, Mermaid Girl). As a television network executive with over twenty years of experience, Douglas brings a strong knowledge of television production, development, brand management, and talent management to her role. She has developed, written and produced television programs throughout her career and also brings to her position the unique skill of having worked as on-camera talent.

Before joining Discovery, Douglas hosted an Emmy®-nominated talk show for Nickelodeon.
