CINE interviews writer, director and producer, Michael A. Simpson, whose Informant Media produced "Crazy Heart", winner of 2 Academy Awards®, 3 Independent Spirit Awards, and many others. Michael's previous work has garnered the George Foster Peabody, New York International Film & TV Festival and Emmy awards, as well as two CINE Golden Eagles in 1984 and 1985, once again demonstrating CINE's knack for the early recognition of talent. Michael and his wife, Judy Cairo, are principals in Informant Media and Cairo/Simpson Entertainment.
