The CINE Golden Eagle Award honors excellence in film
and video production in a non-competitive format, based on a
review by two independent juries. In addition, all winners of
the CINE Golden Eagle in each content category are eligible for
a competitive award, the CINE Special Jury Award.
The CINE Special Jury Award recognizes the best film/video
of the year in the various categories. Juries composed of CINE board
members will select these winners, who will be announced and honored
at the annual CINE Awards Event. CINE Special Jury Award winners
will receive 2 unique certificates. They may also order a distinctive
trophy that recognizes this high level of achievement.
Finally, all of the CINE Special Jury Award winners
automatically become nominees for CINEs six highest level
awards: The five CINE Masters Series Awards for News, Professional
Broadcast and Non-Broadcast Division films, and the CINE Award
of Excellence for Pre-Professional films. These awards will truly
represent the "best of the best." CINE Masters Series
Awards and CINE Award of Excellence winners will be announced
and honored at the annual CINE Awards Event, and each will receive
a unique and elegant trophy.
