The Constitution Project Series aims to promote civics education among senior high school students through the examination and analysis of key Constitutional issues and landmark Supreme Court cases. This film examines the Supreme Court case Yick Wo v. Hopkins, which expanded the Constitutional idea of equal protection to everyone in the United States, even non-citizens. It explores Yick Wo's enduring legacy; since it was decided in 1886, Yick Wo has been cited in over 160 Supreme Court opinions.
