This film examines the Supreme Court case Yick Wo v. Hopkins, which expanded the Constitutional idea of equal protection to everyone in the United States, even non-citizens. It explores Yick Wo's enduring legacy; since it was decided in 1886, Yick Wo has been cited in over 160 Supreme Court opinions.
